Trieste, Italia is at the easternmost tip of the northern part of Italy.  Right on the border with Slovenia and at the top of the Adriatic Sea.  They've got quite a bit of beautiful and unique architecture in this region that is different from the rest of Italy and not what we usually think of as Italian Architecture.

There was also quite a bit of graffiti, which rarely was of a non significant topic.
Interesting location.  I can't remember where it was, but I remember it was very strategically placed.  I will have to consult and get back.

Not sure what this meant and couldn't figure it out.  Maybe an Italian can clue me in.

Some struggles haven't changed in 70 years.  These people have been through a lot between the Nazi's, Facista's and Communist's fighting.
A weird side note: this poor fellow was taking what I'm sure was a beautiful picture, but just after I snapped this picture, he lost his footing and fell thousands of feet down.  Yikes!
